In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day the March Group Gift is a cute green dress with a lace overlay and the option of a bow in front or back. Gifts are available in the group notices for two weeks after they are sent out, if the gift is no longer in the notices then please IM me and I will send it to you.

I went with a themed idea for the February gift poses, each pose comes with a rose and poses 1, 2 & 3 each have extra versions of the poses included for hand placement or head/neck placement to fit all avatars. These are located in the studio lounge. Enjoy 🙂

There were so many good photos this week it was really hard to pick the winners. The theme was “Facial Expressions” and the guest judges were Juliet Moonshadow, owner of Star*Crossed Wedding Photography and the previous winner, Lynnley Windlow.
Some entrants used the the default SL facial emotions and some used various skins/makeup to create an emotion. All photos were really good and deciding was difficult, after bringing in a 4th judge from last week to help a tiebreaker we had our winners! Belina Lacombe won first place, Saddie Naire won second place and Assia Moonbeam was the vote winner.

The next contest starts this Friday, the 21st and the theme is MEN (yay!!!). Belina Lacombe will be one of the judges, the other guest judge is not yet determined.

This week’s contest is over and we have our winners!
Congratulations to the winners! The theme was “Glam” and I was thinking 80’s/Bowie type glam but all entrants went for “Glamour” so we rolled with that! I had the pleasure of having a new judge come on board this week, Bard Jameson, owner of Photogenix Studios. His photography work in-world is truly amazing. He uses natural SL elements with very little to no post processing. I recommend viewing his work on his blog or at his in-world gallery.

Whew! Between all the Holiday “fun” and trying to set up the new sim I managed to get the sim open only a week later than originally planned. I call that an accomplishment! The sim name is….drumroll….ANGE. Once again my cleverness astounds me hehe.
I somewhat kept the same basic floor plan of the old studio with the beginning walkway having photo prop rooms along the sides and then it opens up into a much larger area with 5 photospheres (2 female, 1 male, male & female, female & female) and then along the other side is some more larger elaborate prop displays. There is a door leading to a large outdoor area with a meadow, a pond, wheat field and forest area with poses built into props and hidden in rocks around the area.
There is a free “Pose Anywhere” poseball for male & female available so you can also use your own poses. The poseball comes with 5 free poses built in and instructions on how to add your own poses (easy!).

Plus a limited Grand Opening free gift, the Meadow Box prop. This gift is available during the first week of the sim opening and then will be taken down and listed on the marketplace for sale. Get it while it’s free!
